Утвержденное Госстандартом изделие межрегионального или межотраслевого уровня, имеющее дефекты в виде нарушения сплошности ил и другой магнитной неоднородности материала известных размеров, прошедшее аттестацию, предназначенное для проверки работоспособности магнитопорошковых дефектоскопов различных типов после изготовления или ремонта, а также других средств магнитопорошкового контроля путем выявления этих дефектов при заданной технологии контроля.
